Ok so my dog is a golden retriever male about 6 years old. For a few days now he has been weak, lethargic, when he is normally very energetic. He is showing no interest in fetch, or or toys. he has a slight limp in his left back leg, so we took him to the vet. He had Lime Disease before so they didn't test him because it would show positive. The vet didn't know what was wrong, so he gave him pain killers for a sprain and antibiotics for lime. Ok...so its always been a dream of mine to get into a really good college. Not necessarily the ivies or anything, but schools like Northwestern, Pomona, Claremont-McKenna, Rice, Duke,etc. I would say my DREAM school would be Stanford. Anyway, I am worried that I will not have enough extracurriculars and leadership positions on my resume by the time I apply. I am currently a junior and all I have so far is Key Club for 3 years (will be 4 by senior year) and volunteering at the hospital every Wednesday after school. I ran for vice pres of Key Club but didn't win it. I also applied for NHS but didn't get it. I did crew in 9th grade, but it just took up too much time. My parents even encouraged me to quit crew! How can I best start pink Queen Anne's Lace?

I was out on one of my rambles this past weekend and saw a Queen Anne's Lace plant that had pink flowers. I don't understand how people can use waxing. You have to wait for the hair to grow back to wax it again. So what do you do - not wear any tank tops, dresses, skirts, etc. for those 2 weeks or so. I ume after you wax, in 2 weeks it starts to grow back and for the next 2 weeks you can't wear dresses since the hair is too long to show your skin, but too short to wax again yet. Msd 6al box question?

I have a 347 stroker ford, it's a carbureted engine, and it has an msd 6al ignition box etc. Whenever the car has been sitting around like a cold start, it will crank right up and run fine. But when he gets hot, it will not start back up, meaning I have no spark. I have checked for spark while cold, and it's fine. I checked the msd box for spark at cold and its fine, but when the car gets hot, it doesn't have any spark. Any ideas? I just replaced my coil with a new one with a msd blaster coil. What else could it be? Iv'e checked all the wire connecections to make sure everything is tight. And it seems like the problem is just getting worse, like today, I went to go start it up, and it would keep cutting off at a cold start somewhat. The problem is getting worse. What could it be?

Without a second thought, if you really liked the woman? I have no children, nor does my partner, but I'm just wondering how much of an issue if would be for most men? Say if you met a really hot woman in a bar, you starting chatting, go on really well, and at the end of night she drops the bombshell that she has one (or more, perhaps 2 or 3) children but is not with the father(s) anymore. Would you not want to see her again? Or would you ask her for a date and see where it goes from there? Harsh as it may sound, would you have the same respect for her as a woman who had no baggage?

However, if you perform on her, i'm pretty sure she'll be safe and all. How can I stop my horse from chasing my goats?

We just adopted two boer wethers --they are only four months old but are big already- 75 lbs each--and although my 11 year old Belgian gelding thinks they are mildly interesting pasture ornaments, my two year old Fjord filly chases them all over the place..and since they were bottlefed babies the goats think they are people and run to me for protection which means the filly is running towards me as well. The Colts will make the playoffs and likely get past the 1st round. The Colts have had injuries to the offensive line that will eventually get healthy. Bob Sanders is a big loss but he will be back before the brutal strech through Pit Ne and SD so no worries there. Colts just have to get guys back and they will be ok. They are missing key Defensive players as well. LB for one, and that hurts the run game. Colts will get better with time. They are still the same team from the past, and have a young defensive unit.

Apparent abnormal Bandwidth usage ?

I’m on ADSL 384kbps with monthly cap of 1G. Up to recently, this was more than adequate for my needs which are about 2/3 hrs per day Internet usage plus email. I regularly visit sites such as CNBC, Yahoo mail, CNN, BBC and occasionally download mp3 and video files. So far this month (up to 13 October) used 432 MIB of which 340 was downloaded data. I did have Limewire on my pc but have removed it in an effort to reduce involuntary use of BW. I also have Symantec which auto downloads virus def files each day. Have Spybot loaded plus windows updates is activated as is the firewall. I usually leave my modem connected when idle. I’ve run several complete scans of my pc but no threat revealed. Spybot reveals a tracking cookie but says it fixed the problem. Have port locking in place with ISP. I don’t think the problem resides with ISP as recently changed and usage is the same. At a loss to know what to do next to try and identify the problem. Using a piece of freeware called NetMeter which appears to pretty accurate in tracking usage as I’ve cross checked the figs with ISP. Overnight, it showed that 11 MIB was downloaded even though IE & Outlook weren’t open. Can anyone help? Many tks Chris

Why does my cat vomit after eating?

My 10 month old cat Taz has started puking around once a week and his vomit looks like it consists of the dry food we give him. We have three cats all together and They have plenty of water, dry food all day, and we serve them wet food at night. Neither of the other cats have puked before so why is Taz puking?

Why don't you feed?

If you're medically able to, and life's cirstances allow it (i.e.-you work, but are allowed to pump on breaks and produce enough milk), without any medical reason, why wouldn't you feed? I'm just curious. This is a controversial topic and women feel defensive on both sides. Personally, I feed, but have used formula in the past at night for my 4.5 month old, but luckily produce enough to allow exclusive feeding again, even with a full-time job. I know this isn't the case but research says 90% of mothers technically can. I'm just curious. Some say formula is just as good and babies are just as healthy, but yet milk IS more healthy and natural and kids are less likely to get sick. Not a judgement or opinion, that is a proven scientific fact. I just like to hear from other mothers. And believe me, if I couldn't feed, I would give formula with no qualms. I know I'm fortunate, but I also am a proponent for breast feeding since I've been able to do it as a full-time working mom. Let me know. No judgements. Just curious.

My look is boring...?

When ever i look in the mirror i am always disappointed. I don't look ugly i look decent, everyday i want to look amazing there are some days that i think i look really good and i want that to be everyday. I look kinda weird with makeup because i have very pale skin, i don't have any idea what to do for makeup and i'm only 13. What kind of makeup should i wear, i have concealer for those couple of pimples i mean i am 13, i wear some mascara on the top lashes and that is it, i have lip gloss but like the cheap kind from the dollar store lol. Creaking floorboards?

the house i want to buy has creaking floorboards. it was newly updated. the owner installed a downstairs wood floor by hand, im told. if that is so and there are so many updates, why didnt he fix the creaking floors upstairs? btw he did put new carpet over them. should i be concerned? the agent said that i could have an inspection to see if it would interfere with the structure of the home? i think she said that by accident. is it possible that something more serious than a nail could be wrong? she said she didnt know. also how much would it cost to have this fixed? thank you. :)

What's really going on?

I've been seeing this guy for nearly a year. He's 40 and i'm 30. Our relationship has been turbulent from the giddy up. I've been way way verbally abusive. While he's been less than forth coming not to mention the fact that he's neglected me throughout our relationship. It's not uncommon for weeks to p without so much as a word from him. I haven't heard from him in quite some time and he has my key. It's not a reg key but one that is more like a chip. It would be difficult for me to have the locks changed and if i did change the locks without him knowing and he then tries to use his key MY key would no longer work. I don't want to ask for the key back again but at the same time i feel like i can't have company because if nothing else it would be weird if he came over and another man was there and besides that i've asked for the key back so many times. i have a job at taco bell, and i messed up a couple of times there, and i don't think it's for me and i get few hours, but i don't know when i am going to ge the job that i want in forklift driving, because i guess i am not qualified, but time pes by and no good job, and i ain't even so good at an easy job like taco bell, so how can i take myself serious i don't have kids or a wife, and i feel discourage. like maybe i'm no good. i hope somebody can relate to my problem and understand that if you have a good paying job you should be thankful.

Is it true that petroleum derivatives like kerosene, naphta, paint thinner and gasoline eats away at your brain cells? I read a study that said that these petroleum products destroyed neurons by eating away the myelin sheath and by increasing the formation of reactive oxygen species which kills the brain cells by stealing electron. Neighbor problems, any ideas?

We live in a VERY small town. Our house is right next door to a building that is both the Mason's Hall, and the Historical Society for the town. We've lived here for five years, and the building was used only twice a year, for their annual meetings. We got a puppy this winter, and admittedly used the back lawn of that building as extension of our lawn. I was diligent about cleaning up poop, but there were times that the poop occurred at night, and I couldn't see it until the next morning. Early in the summer, I apologized to the person mowing the lawn next door about the poop I hadn't gotten to that day. He said "Hey, don't worry about it....we live in the country, and it's fertilizer." On the other side of the Historical Society is the busiest restaurant in town. Their back lawn is adjacent to the parking lot for the restaurant. Often dogs are walked on the lawn, and I've always cleaned up their poop too. The Historical Society recently elected a new president, who nicely asked my husband one day, to please not allow our dog to poop on the lawn. My husband ured him that we would no longer allow her over there, and we haven't. I've still done poop patrol over there though, because I knew that we would be blamed for it. A month ago, I was walking the dog, leashed, in our back yard. The new president was mowing, and was quite rude to me about the two poops he had to pick up that morning. I calmly explained to him that our dog hadn't been on that lawn in weeks, and that I've picked up my share of poop from the patrons of the restaurant. Since that day, he's made a point of mowing, weed-whacking, wood-chipping, chain sawing, etc. at the crack of dawn almost every morning. My husband works nights, and him being woken up at 5:30am every morning was driving me nuts. Last week I went to talk to him about it, and he was extremely rude. Pointed his finger at me in anger, threatened to "take care" of my dog, told me he could make noise any time he damn well pleased. After about 15 min., I just went back inside. In the last week, both the Masons and the Historical Society have had their annual meetings, and I'd bet that 80% of the population of the town are members in one of those. Both of those evenings, there were cars parked all over my lawn, even partially blocking my driveway, and completely blocking my walkway. This has never occurred before. So....do I make a stink, and look like a bad neighbor to most of the town? Do I just suck it up, and lay low? He is now there every day, and I don't even want to go outside until he leaves. (Called our town clerk, there are no noise restrictions in our town.) Man, it felt better just to vent!

It's not enough that most Hindus follow vegetarianism but we should be planting more trees as well since at the end of our lives we use a lot of wood for cremation. To balance Karmic law we should be planting more trees, right! Our environmental impact in our lives is still lower than other religions but we should be doing even more. When i was in 3rd cl in primary school i had an old teacher named Ms.McCarthy. One day as a joke me and my friend Kieran brought a fake spider to school and started scaring random clmates with it. Everyone thought it was hilarious except the teacher. He listened to my story and after that called me down to his office everyday for 2 weeks for me to repeat my story over and over again. Eventually he stopped calling me down to his office and nothing more was said about it. The teacher got away with punching a student. Is it not illegal to do that? What are some things that my green spotted puffers could play with?

I have two green spotted puffers, they are small and live together in a 10 gallon tank. I have no problem with them in there, they are still young so I have not turned it into a brackish tank yet. But any tips about that i would appreciate. I was wondering if there are any household items that I could use as a toy to keep them occupied. I have a large piece of dead coral with bubbles underneath and a forest of plants around it. in the middle i have a thing with holes for them to swim and hide in. resting against that i have a large shell that i made into a tunnel so that they can hide and swim through there. on the other side of the tank i have 2 more plants ( not next to eachother) and some open space for them to swim. there is gravel on the floor and i have 2 lights. I was also wondering, how long should i keep the lights on each day, and how do i add/change the water, without making the ph level go down. also is it good to feed them algae gel and baby brine shrimp? oh, i also have a small shell in the gravel upside down for them to sleep in. also, how do i keep the water from evaporating so quickly? thanks in advance

For beginners the most important thing is the strings. Very very smooth strings. I liked the blue steel cryogenic strings. If the strings arent smooth you will not practice for very long because it will hurt. After you have played for a while you will get callouses and it won't hurt. Call me a whimp, I'm just keepin it real.

7mm or 5/4mm wetsuit, sometimes with hood?

Shopping for a wetsuit for SCUBA and finally managed to find a reasonably priced "tall" size (I'm 6'2 and only 160lbs), now I'm having trouble deciding if I should go with the 7mm or the 5/4mm. Cost isn't a factor here because they're both the same and both are available in the medium-tall size I need. I only can't decide on the thickness because I want it to be versatile. I want a suit that can perform both where I live- Chicago area. And on more tropical/warm water trips. I originally planned (before seeing the 7 on sale) to get the 5/4 and use a hood for colder water. Now with the 7 being an option I know it would be better for my colder local dives, but am wondering if its overkill in, say, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Any suggestions?

Due to my screwed-up circadian rhythm, I tend to only sleep a few hours a night, and some nights, I don't sleep at all. During my first two cles, which are in the morning, I feel unbearably sleepy. After lunch though, I start to perk up and I can usually go until a little later that night, then sleep, which puts my rhythm back in order (temporarily, anyway). Anyway, how can I stay awake during those cles???

Does Anyone Else Have This Problem With Guys?

I'm okay-looking girl. Most people don't find me attractive. I wouldn't call myself ugly but I would not call myself hideous. I'm around average. So since I'm around average I've tried to kind of lower my standards for men since I'm not exactly a looker. But then I've noticed I've been insulted numerous on my looks by men most people wouldn't consider attractive either.
