Can I deploy while in ROTC?

It really depends. As a non-contracted SMP Cadet, it is more probable you could be deployed than if you are a contracted SMP Cadet. In any event, if you get alerted, you need to notify your PMS, who will already actually know before you do. But you need to provide the courtesy so you can get in to talk to the PMS. They will usually request an exemption for a cadet, contracted or not. Just keep in mind this is not always granted, although it usually is.
