What is the best allergy medication for severe allergies?

desperate for help! i have very severe allergies to the point where i cannot be outside for more than 5 minutes with sneezing my head off and watery/itchy eyes, and ear/throat irritation. i am currently on xyzal at night and started allegra during the day which is still NO help. i'm thinking of adding claritan with the allegra during the days b/c i am so desperate. i cannot do the allergy shots b/c i don't have the dedication nor the insurance at this time. i was prescribed prednisone which helped last year but this year it really hasn't done much magic. i am desperate - anyone have any suggestions?
