Someone familier with Los Angeles county/san bernardino county freeways!!?

i work in hawthorne by the 405 and 105 freeway. i need to get to the 215 60 actually colton. is there anyway possible for me to avoid the bumper to bumber traffic on the 105and605? i know the 60 i can get in whittier. can i take the streets from hawthrone? please help this traffic kills me!!!
